The paper mill has recently introduced this 300g / m2 paper designed for Platinotype but which is suitable for all Siderotypies. It has no surface sizing, has a smooth finish with a very thin texture, on both sides which makes them difficult to distinguish and in any case both can be used for printing. Its whiteness is truly exceptional and obtaining deep blacks generates a decidedly beautiful optical contrast, thanks also to the ease with which the white areas of the paper are clarified. It also has particularly neutral tones that make it possible to obtain prints with shades very similar to those of Platinum with Palladio. The application with a brush is very smooth and the paper allows you to use less sensitizer precisely because it stays longer on the surface. The drafting can be improved with the use of surfactants such as Tween 20.
